Somos nuestras montañas/We are our Mountains is a documentary that tells the story of Manuk Harutyunyan, an Armenian ex-soldier who, after 20 years, voluntarily returns to the front lines in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh), determined to defend a land that has always been his. Through his perspective, the film portrays the resistance of the Armenian people: in physical trenches marked by war and in symbolic trenches that span generations and geographies. A tale of struggle for identity, memory, and endurance.
